CHAIRMAN SNIDER BRINGS IN JACK'S FAVORITE
Atlantic City, NJ- The Flyers hosted their first annual "End of Summer-Get Ready For Camp" Beach Party this past Sunday. Chairman Ed Snider surprised Pres/GM Santos by bringing in his favorite crooner, Mr. Jimmy Buffett. The show, Santos said, was somewhere between the 80th & 90th time he has seen Mr. Buffett.
No matter how many Landsharks were had, Montreal GM Dave Paddington was unsuccessful in getting Santos to deal Dany Heatley & Patrick Sharpe in the same package.
